Over the past 10 years, Swami Neelamber has designed, developed, and maintained a number of very special web sites for friends and a wide array of businesses. I have created effective, engaging and award winning sites, all of them hand coded and incorporating www.w3c.org web design standards.
If you need one, I can help your business achieve it's potential.
I can realise your requirements >

Pinhole
http://www.blueskyzen.com/pinhole/
This site was originally created in 1999 to showcase some of my 4x5 Pinhole photographs. Over time various other experimental 'add-ons' appeared using JavaScript and Java.
Riddled with coding anomalies, it was one of my first web sites and lovingly hand coded in MS Notepad.
Ah, those were the days!
Fragrance of the East
http://www.fragranceoftheeast.org
Created for the International musician Chinmaya Dunster. Chinmaya and his Celtic Ragas Band played in a concert for the environment at Pune, India. He also produced a stunning DVD of the multimedia event. Chinmaya felt to make that DVD available as a FREE download.
This multilingual web site was the result.
Yasha Lavie
Yasha Lavie is a healer and medium. In 1997 he started channeling the healing ways of the Essenes and he now runs The New Zealand College of Essene Healing.
This web presence suitably showcases his rich and diverse work.
Grandvue Joinery
http://www.grandvuejoinery.co.nz
In 2008 Robbie Piacun and his team produced the external timber joinery for a home built by BJ Wilson Builders. A stunning Crosson Clarke Carnachan designed home, it was a Gold Medal Winner at the 2008 House of the Year Awards.
The web site showcases this fact and equips Grandvue Joinery with an effective online presence.
Makeup by Annabel
http://www.makeupbyannabel.co.nz
Design, build and development of Annabel's new web site.
I used state of the art image transparency throughout, with the resultant soft layered effect emphasizing subtleties in Annabel's many makeup styles.
Created with all modern browsers in mind: Firefox, Safari, Chrome, IE7. There's a fall back version for IE6, IE5.5, et al.
Sole Feeling
Major rebuild - My friend Daiden is one of Fremantle's most respected Reflexologists. He lost his webmaster before this interactive site was ever finished. I repositioned his brilliant logo, redid graphics, tweaked fonts rewrote half the XHTML, and created a new CSS style sheet ...
It's always tricky picking up where some other webmaster has left off. That said, www.solefeeling.com now validates to www.w3c.org standards and looks mighty fine as well.
Jacqui Walker Photography
http://www.blueskyzen.com/archive/jacqui/
Jacqui Walker was the official photographer during the visit of HH the 14th Dalai Lama to New Zealand in 2002. She needed an Internet site to display and sell the many brilliant images that she'd captured during the Dalai Lama's visit. This web site (now archived) was the result.
Dalai Lama images can be found at Jacqui's new web site - www.jacquiwalker.co.nz. Also on display is a wide selection of her more recent photography.
Imagine
http://www.blueskyzen.com/archive/imagine/
Imagine You & Me is an up market service bringing kindred spirits together. Their site was launched in 2006.
Salt Design was commissioned to create the branding. I was Imagine's Web producer at the time, and the result of my PhotoShop and XHTML/CSS coding efforts were this original web site - now archived.
Their new CMS version is at www.imagineyouandme.net.
Aravindi's Chocolate Memory Test
http://www.blueskyzen.com/aravindi/
Implemented the concept and developed the challenge. This site not only gives my good friend Aravindi an easy way to deal with her chocolate addiction, but it also helps improve her memory - both at the same on-line sitting!
How fast can you complete the test? Under three minutes would be pretty good. Hint - reset the clock first!
Try it right now ... Check your memory here!
Oceania Audio
Originally created in 1999 as a small eleven page brochure site, it eventually grew to become - in the words of one of the original owners - "the most expensive Web site in New Zealand!" Oceania is NZ's largest Sound and Lighting hire company, and their web site simply grew with the business.
It ended up with 5822 hand coded pages ... Years of work!
In 2008 Oceania's new management opted for a small CMS platform and a dramatically scaled down web presence.
Oceania Lighting
http://www.oceania-audio.com/lighting/
Oceania Lighting division's stand alone web site was originally created in 2002. I supplied most of the photography and it eventually grew to well over 1000 very visual pages.
Although the design was partially based on the original Oceania Audio template, I created a very different graphic feel to emphasize Lighting's stunning indoor/night-time visual effects.
Oceania Beta 3
http://www.blueskyzen.com/clients/oa/beta3/
To bring Oceania's web presence into the 21st century and in line with their market leading expertise, I designed this new template early in 2007 to replace the two shown above.
It was however a conventional XHTML/CSS based design - it required a Web master ...
Oceania chose a Content Management System (CMS).
Zeppelin Live
http://www.oceania-audio.com/zeppelin/
This site was created as a visual memento of the legendary 2004 concert by the New Zealand group Zeppelin Live.
On June 19th these four musicians performed live at the mighty Saint James Theatre in Auckland.
Oceania supplied the sound, the lighting, and two members of the band!
Cinematic Alliance
http://www.blueskyzen.com/clients/ca/
Created in the dead of night for a brilliant young film-maker named Sam Peacocke. Shortly after this template was completed Sam's career took off in a totally new direction. Now his exceptional talent could well be over at Robber's Dog - http://www.robbersdog.co.nz
The page works like a frame set without actually being one ... if you know what I mean. Needs a little fine tuning and someone else's name. Yours perhaps?
The Berry
http://www.blueskyzen.com/archive/theberry/
In 2001 the 'Berry' closed and sadly the Golden Era of Trance in New Zealand came to an end. Always remembered as the original home of Underground Trance in NZ, this is my personal tribute to Auckland's Legendary Normanby Road Dance Venue, the Berry.
Includes Swami's absolutely brilliant but completely useless screen-waster "RandomBerry III" (with FREE zip download).
I know you won't believe your luck!
Juggle
http://www.blueskyzen.com/juggle/
Based on the original Dos Version 1.60 of Juggle Master by Ken Matsuoka.
I implemented this Windows version as one of the best ways to learn juggling. Especially handy if a personal trainer such as Carl doesn't happen to be nearby.
Juggle uses all 18 of Ken's Java files. It's heaps of fun!
Acrocinesis
http://www.blueskyzen.com/dance/acrocinesis/
Absolutely the best outdoor excursion for ages. Only an hour North of Auckland city and a vast panorama of friendly faces and phat sounds greeted all who came.
This is my personal record of the journey - a few beautiful days very much out of the ordinary.
Kaleidoscope
http://www.blueskyzen.com/kaleidoscope/
Also created in the dead of night, but only to help pass a little time, honest. Blue Sky Zen's Kaleidoscope, or Neid (Zeitschrift/Projekt) for short, is a classic Java based time-waster.
The lovely Kaleidoscopic patterns are quite addictive and easily triggered by a range of user selectable images.
Hours of eye candy!
Parcel
http://www.blueskyzen.com/parcel/
Inspired by an unwanted 'package' that arrived sometime around the year 2000. Parcel is a simple game for simple folk based on multiple levels of random JavaScript. However, due to it's haphazard nature, Parcel is incredibly difficult to finish but very revealing when and if you do!
Mathematically it's actually possible to solve the puzzle in only three clicks, irrespective of one's wealth ...
Pop the kettle on!
Others
http://www.blueskyzen.com/design/others/
Over the years I've created numerous other small web sites. Many of which were merely a solitary long page! Mind you, some had as many as eleven, and while they're probably of little or no interest, I've cunningly archived them here to improve my Google ranking ...
Nah, just kidding!
