Title

The New Zealand College of Essene Healing

The New Zealand College of Essene Healing opened at Directions Healing Centre in Auckland, New Zealand, on 8 March 2007. Its aim is to study the philosophy and healing techniques of the Essenes.

The Essenes had a profound knowledge of the 7 bridges and were aware of the need to practise them daily. They were extraordinary healers, but knew that they could only be effective when they were in touch with the Source. Every day they based their exercises upon the bridges. For each bridge there were certain meditations, movements, poses, stretches, hand positions, colours, sounds and geometrical shapes.

This college and others that Yasha intends to open in years to come will give you the opportunity to practise, rather than merely gain knowledge. You will be inspired by the daily interaction with the Essenes and their wisdom. It's not hard to gather information: there are schools and universities everywhere, millions of books attractively displayed in shops all over the world and of course there is the internet. But there aren't many places where there is such a tangible connection between what you learn and the implications for your every day life.

Fees : $5000 per year

Every session will consist of 4 different components

1.  Working with the body

We practise the 49 poses (7 for each bridge) and variations of them. The poses look like yoga and the Essenes practised them every day:

•  To keep their bodies flexible,

•  To stimulate each of the 7 lines of energy,

•  To encourage better breathing. They believed that healing starts and ends with breathing well.

2.  Working with the mind

The Essenes discovered that the mind consists of 16 parts. There are two different nervous systems connecting the mind (in the astral body) with the physical and emotional bodies.

We practise different meditation and visualization techniques in order to be more in touch with the mind and learn to control it. People often go through profound experiences as they become more aware of the workings of the mind.

3.  Healing techniques

The word Essene means 'healer '. The Essenes had the reputation of being remarkable healers. They looked at human beings and their state of health through the 7 bridges. Each bridge is a line of energy containing 7 points. Every one of these 49 points has its own meaning and application and is used for the treatment of a wide variety of physical and emotional disorders.

There are many techniques to do this. We will study them in depth and practise with each other. In this way we heal ourselves and learn to help others, be it as a friend or a practitioner.

4.  Direct lessons with the Essenes

Yasha will channel the Essene consciousness. Only they know the subject matter of this part of course. They often have surprises, either on a general or personal level. In the last 10 years they showed us much compassion and humour. You're sure to experience these, along with their many other qualities.

At the College, you will have a chance to meet them as the Essenes they were then and as the consciousness in spirit they are now.

You'll find it a unique experience.
